Dua Lipa Concert!

hey everyone!

On November 15th (I am aware that was like two weeks ago but we’re not gonna talk about that) Dua Lipa performed in Dubai.

I originally wasn’t planning to go because I hadn’t heard all of her songs but then my friend invited me and some other people to the concert for her birthday so of course I couldn’t say no lol. For like 2-3 weeks I listened to Dua’s songs and learnt the lyrics and I’ll tell you which of her songs are my favourite at the end and also talk about the concert 🙂

I only have a handful of pics and videos ( but I can’t attach videos 😔 )because I wanted to dance and jump around so here are the few I could fit into this post.

Okay, so Dua’s performance was around one-and-a-half hours I’m going to say and she was exactly on time. I’m late to everything in life so to me that’s an achievement.

She performed her songs flawlessly and danced around the stage the whole time. I’m surprised she could sing so amazing while she’s dancing and taking laps of the stage, my friends and I were exhausted and we barely did anything. Alsoo Dua performed her newest song ‘Don’t Start Now’ for the first time in concert which was pretty amazing and a great song to scream at the top of your lungs. (go listen to it if you haven’t already)

Overall her performance was amazing and obviously she ended with New Rules. She just didn’t sing ‘No Goodbyes’ ‘Room For 2’ and I’m pretty sure some other songs that I was really looking forward to. These are my top 3 Dua Lipa songs if anyone was wondering:

A Frappuccino Obsession

Hey guys!

Have you ever been to Starbucks and ordered a frappuccino? They’re like, these really delicious milkshake kinda things and in my opinion (don’t lash out at me or anything) I think that the Starbucks ones are the best. But they are sold in lots of cafes and many people can have different preferences.

Over the weekend one of my best friends came over (hey Mia) and we had a girls night doing what you do; watching movies while snacking, photoshoots, going to the mall, and Starbucks.

In the fall season, they have a flavour called ‘Pumpkin Spice Latte’ which I’m sure many of you have tried and loved ♥️ Basically I had never tried it so I tried it on Friday with Mia but I didn’t really like it. It was good, not gonna lie, but it wasn’t my kinda flavour. So I just gave it to her and had a trusty ‘Mocha Chocolate Chip’.

Of course, after that, we had a photoshoot ↑↑↑ And I’ll show some more pics laterrrr!

10 Things You May Not Know About Me

Heyya!

BTW: I did not buy balloons especially for this post, I took this picture on my brother’s 10th birthday and I finally found a use for it.

I started this blog more than a few months ago so this post has been due for a while. Sorry!

Things like this are all over youtube and WordPress so I’m sure you’ve all seen them. Things like: ’25 facts about me!’ I’ve even seen a post with 100 facts!! But I’m not interesting enough for that many facts so I’ll just do as many as I can 🙂

I Severely Dislike Cinnamon

This might not be like OHMYGOD SHE DOESN’T LIKE CINNAMON, IT’S THE END OF THE WORLD! But most of the people I tell this to are extremely surprised because, well, I guess cinnamon is a popular spice. I remember once it was my hamsters birthday when I was about 6 so my mom and I made cupcakes and later when I tasted it I realised it was cinnamon and I got so mad 😂

I am a Vegetarian

I think I mentioned this in one of my first few posts but I didn’t really have many readers that time so you wouldn’t know unless you were here from the very start! Comment if you were :)) Basically I don’t eat meat or eggs but I can still have stuff like milk and cheese.

I Have a Food Blog

I’m Learning to Speak French

No comment on this because we don’t really learn things that are helpful in life. That puts you in an awkward situation when you’re the only one in the family who knows the least bit of French and everyone’s staring at you expectantly but you have no idea what the lady is saying…

I’m Obsessed With Notebooks

I think many bloggers and YouTubers can relate to this (or maybe not) but I just love some notebooks and how they’re planned out and their covers or page designs. For that reason, I have about 6 notebooks and I’m wondering what to do with three of them…yikes…

Me is a Neat Freak

Sometimes I feel like a Monica (from Friends) but I’m not as much a freak as she is haha. It’s just really satisfying when everything is organised and when notebooks have all these dividers and an index and stuff.

To This Day I’ve Had 16 Pets

It sounds cool but it really isn’t. All the animals are: 7 fish, 7 turtles, a hamster and a dog. So now you realize it’s not actually that amazing.

I Love Friends

I lurve Friends so much because it’s just the funniest show ever! There’s also an episode for every feeling emotion and celebration. My favourite characters are Monica, Phoebe and Chandler; no offence to the other characters 😉 Tell me your favourite character if you watch it!

Pictures are My Thang

It’s the coolest thing ever (for me) to print pictures and stick them up on the wall because everytime I look at them I remember what happened at the time of the picture which I love ♥️

One Day I’d Like to Visit All the Countries in Europe

I’m sure someone else can relate to this because travelling is amazing.

May Wrap-Up

A bit late?

Definitely.

Sorry about me, I just scheduled this post and then didn’t wonder for a while why my “post” wasn’t getting any likes. Yep.

SO………….. May was definitely a very busy month; mostly because of my exams but hey, who’s counting?

This year was the first year that I had ‘End Of Year Exams’ and it was extremely stressful. But now I’m really excited for my results, as I’m sure you guys are too!

Also this month I had that sleepover and really fun mini photoshoot which pictures I have previously shared with you guys. I love love LOVE them so much.

*Hreem thinks for 10 mins and then realizes how boring this month has been*

Now we can just have a nice, friendly chat about life. I did watch two great movies last month though; Overboard and The Kissing Booth (I’m sure all you girls with Netflix would have watched this!), The Kissing Booth was such an amazing movie, and you should go watch it right now if you haven’t already.

Next thing……… I cut my hair!

I didn’t cut it in May but I just had to add that in because I’ve been growing my hair and keeping it long for aaaaaaaages and I finally had the guts to cut off a bit. That and the cruel summer heat of Dubai, and summer is only getting started ☀️ How’s that working out for you guys by the way?

A Guide to Dubai

Dubai Guide

Evening everyone!

Well, not so much evening for me but it is the evening for a lot of people around the world so…

ANYwhoo, I am extrEMEly sorry for not posting in over a week. I mean, who does that? But now it’s spring break ( hooray! ) so I will be able to post normally again. Also, I was a little bit jetlagged and sick after coming back from Switzerland so I’m not quite sure you’d actually want to read the posts at that time…

So, here’s a little post of stuff you should do in Dubai if you ever come. BTW, if you do then you should definitely tell me because I can give you more advice 🙂

Visit the Burj Khalifa

The Burj Khalifa is obviously very iconic because it is ginormous, so you should visit it because the view from the top is great. But I don’t really advise this for people who are scared of heights because man is it tall!

Visit a Shopping Mall

I don’t know if you know but Dubai is full to the brim with great big shopping malls where you drop while you’re still halfway through your shopping list! (shop till you drop) In my opinion, the best malls to go to are: Mall Of the Emirates (MOE) or The Dubai Mall. Dubai mall is bigger but MOE has a few things that Dubai mall doesn’t so it’s just to get even.

Go to the Beach

UAE is a very sunny place so you should probably take advantage of the extra degrees by just dropping by at the beach because a) who doesn’t love the beach, and b) there is some delicious food and nice shops there too. So why not?!

Now here are a few things with shorter captions-

Visit a theme park: The weather’s perfect, you’ve got the chance, honestly why not? Go to Ski Dubai: Come on, indoor skiing, that’s pretty self-explanatory. Dubai Aquarium: You can almost go inside the aquarium, how cool is that?!

The most important thing is probably to go on a bus tour because you’ll get more of your sight-seeing desire fulfilled too!

Eating at Bianca Mozzarella & Co

Soooo…

This weekend my BFFL came for a visit ( thisprettygirlslife.wordpress.com ) and we had dinner at Bianca Mozzarella & Co. and the food was super delicious.

My favourite dish was ‘Penna Alla Siciliano’, it’s a dish which has penne, tomato sauce, mozzarella and eggplant. We also ordered a ‘Burrata in a Jar’ which was absolutely scrumptious, there was so much cheese and some delicious tomatoes and leaves. Leaves? Probably not so delicious, but, give them a chance.

My least favourite dish was the pizza, which was supposed to have mushrooms and truffle but there was literally no truffle on the pizza, which was quite disappointing.

Noelle was suddenly addicted to my camera so she took loads of pictures of me, the ones of the food were taken by me though.
