A Day in My Mind

Rose || Day in my mind

Now THAT’s a sentence (or title) I never thought I’d write.

But that is what this blog post about! My thought process on an average school day.

I thought it would be fun to do a post with questions and thoughts I think of on a daily basis. I got inspiration for this from <<Emily Clare Beauty >>who did ‘Inside The Mind Of A Blogger’, and I really liked that post but didn’t want to do the exact same thing soo… here we are!

“Wait no, it can’t be time to wake up. Oh thank god, it’s just three.”

“Did I get everything? I think I forgot something.”

“Oh no, oh no, did the bell go yet? DID THE BELL GO YET?!”

“Great I got the wrong books.”

“Nooooooo it’s Arabic”

“Finally, it’s time to go home!”

“Let’s find food and watch Friends!!!”

“Oops I have homework, let me just finish thaaaat.” *back to bingeing*

“Ugh, I’m hungry again.”

“Have any bloggers written anything new? Ooh, good inspiration.”

“Crap, I need to write another blog post now.”

”Can I sleep now? YEEEEEah; here I come blanket!”

This is literally my life described in *goes back to count* 12 questions and statements. And I think there could be loads of variations on these kinds of blog posts!

Can you relate to any of these? If you write a post like this please comment below because I’d really love to check it out!

Exams Over! And How to Survive Them When They Return

IMG_3608

You heard it, no more exams! woohoo!

Obviously I have them next year, but for now, I’m done, finito! It’s like a huge weight has been lifted off of my shoulders nd

So here are a few tips that really helped me:

Have a Schedule or Timetable

This helped me a lot and is great if you have many subjects that you can’t keep track of and also saves you time so you don’t have to worry about what to study next! I also gave myself little stars so by the end my calendar was covered by a constellation of stars ⭑

Reward Yourself

Whenever I finished a week’s worth of studying I treated myself to a little Pinkberry (yum!) or ice cream or something delicious just so there was something to look forward to.

Get Comfortable

You won’t learn anything if you don’t feel comfortable so go on, grab some cushions and scented candles; just make sure you don’t fall asleep…

Music

There are two options for this: listen to soft studying music (which distracts me) or you can do what I did and go on Ambient-Mixer and listen to some sounds like ‘Gryffindor common room’ (which I absolutely adore) and ‘rainy day’ and stuff just so it’s not too quiet 🙂

and finally…

DON’T STRESS

My science teacher is all about the meditation and peace so she always said “don’t get too stressed over work. If you can’t bear it, take a break, go to the park and take your dog for a walk. Stress just leads to more stress which is just unbearable.”

What studying tips helped you lately?
