Soo…
I recently stopped by Lush to just check out some of their new products for the Christmas range and restricted myself to just buying four things; no matter how hard I wanted to buy more.
I bought two from the Christmas range and two of their normal products:
- ‘Shoot For The Stars’ bath bomb
- ‘Snow Fairy’ fun soap
- ‘Sugar Daddy-O’ hair conditioner
- ‘Juicy’ shampoo
Shoot For The Stars
‘Honey-scented sparkles of Brazilian orange and bergamot waltz with swirling, golden stars, creating a world of cobalt colour. As the calming blanket of shimmering, midnight blue unfolds, Brazilian orange and bergamot oils combine to send your mood rocketing up to the stars.’ I haven’t actually tried this one out yet but the description and the scent are sooooo fabulous.
Snow Fairy
‘This colourful, candyfloss-scented fun is a little bit magical. Handmake your own festive fairy in soft pink and set her at the top of the tap so she can cast a spell over bathtime. Crumble a little under running water for streams of spellbinding, candy-coated bubbles which turn the water into a wonderland of sweetness, or lather up in your hands for a sugary sweet body wash.’ I think that Snow Fairy is not a very popular scent because some people find it too sweet, but I think it’s a really great smell and I haven’t smelled any other Lush product that smells similar.
I Love Juicy
‘Packed with fresh fruit to deeply cleanse and clarify hair. This is a fruit cocktail for the hair to cleanse and refresh it, softening seaweed to leave your locks super-shiny once they’re extra-clean. Freshly juiced pineapples, kiwi, mango and papaya are full of enzymes that help break down excess sebum (oil) on the scalp, leaving hair looking and feeling fresh and clean.’ This shampoo is really good because it actually does everything it says in the description and leaves your hair smelling really good.
Sugar Daddy-O
‘With richness beyond compare and a fondness for blondes, Sugar Daddy-O is one to watch. Lighter shades will remain classy, not brassy after a few strokes with this pretty purple solid conditioner. It’s full of luscious linseed infusion and argan oil to nourish. A floral bouquet of violet leaf absolute, rose and bergamot creates an intoxicating fragrance that will last on hair all day. Work the bar between the hands before applying a small amount into wet hair; a little goes a long way.’ This conditioner is pretty cool because it’s a bar and is super massaging when you rub it into your hair, it’s really good.
